After a day exploring a new trail, sit back and relax by the fire. Horse camps are found in 10 state park areas and are often found near the trailhead. French Creek Horse Camp offers horseback riders a place to bed down with their horses after a day of riding.
From the Blue Bell Lodge Stables outside of Custer, go east along CSP Rd 4, Lame Johnny Road and you'll find French Creek Horse Campsites designed exclusively for horse campers includes trailer parking, corrals, water, and electricity.
